Ranch Horses Ready To Perform

Our Story

Jake and Hannah Agar and their three children, Tylee, Decker, and Taryn, ranch and raise horses in the middle of the Rocky Mountains near Thermopolis Wyoming.

Jake grew up in Oregon’s Hells Canyon where his family started raising horses to use on their ranching operation when he was 14. They needed horses that could pack a saddle all day long in the steep canyon terrain and hold up to the demands of ranching in rough country.

Hannah grew up in south central Oregon in a small ranching community where her family taught her to love and appreciate horses. After her and Jake were married in 2011, they worked with Jake’s family and the horses that they had been raising.

The bloodlines from both Jake and Hannah’s childhood can be found in the horses that they ride and raise today. You will see the DCR & RDA prefix on all of the older horses from Jake and Hannah’s time working with Jake’s family. From 2025 on they will have the QCD prefix on their names.
